All about mountain skiing in Soca Valley. Ponedeljek, 23. februar 2009. A high mountain pass Vrata on the west side of Krn mountain ridge was this times goal for all mountain skiing. Splendid views from the top and a great ride on steep slopes always pay back the invested effort of conquering the top of this rarely visited mountain pass. All about mountain skiing in Soca Valley. Nedelja, 04. januar 2009. Easy accessible Mojstrovka from Vršič pass makes it a favorite. Place for all mountain skiers. Steep ascent up to Grebenec edge and two fabulous descents from Mala or Velika Mojstrovka toward the Trenta valley represent excelent ski experience throughout the whole winter. From the top of Zeleni Vrh magnificent view on entire Julian Alps open up to the north with splendid view down to Adriatic See to the south. Complete 360 beauties. The descent is not very difficult, but do try to take the direct and steepest way down to the valley to get below Škrbina. Wednesday, 24 September 2008. 38 Možnica * *. Short-but-fun. Many hill tops around Bovec are steep and unapproachable by bike, so all it is there are the one way valleys. The one to Možnica has a nice return path that goes through the Možnica river gorges and back out to the road to Kluže, a monumental fortress dated centuries back. Well, the Matajur/Montemaggiore hill is full of beautiful single tracks. Especially ones on the Italian side.
