Please advise your student to be aware of their surroundings. Wednesday, April 14, 2010. Here is a note from our assistant principal regarding STAR testing. I will be testing with my second period class. Hello MJHS families,. Spring is here and so is the California Standardized (STAR) test time! We are planning to test the students on the following days:. The students’ schedule on these four days will be slightly different. We will begin school at 9:00. The morning will be testing and they will visit only half of their classes each afternoon. Over the next couple of weeks, I hope to hear every student read at least a paragraph aloud during class. I will then assign a distinction of 1, 2, 3, or 4 to roughly correspond with below basic, basic, proficient and advanced. While it appears on AERIES, This is in no way a graded assignment.
