Basic Rider Course (BRC). New riders become familiar with motorcycling in a safe controlled environment and can determine if riding is something they want to pursue before investing in a new bike and equipment. It also helps determine one’s comfort level on a motorcycle before purchasing one. If under 18 years of age, a student is required to have earned a state issued drivers learners permit in order to particpate in the course. A parent or legal guardian must sign the course waiver.
