Fri - Sat - Sun 9 - 5. Daily 9 - 6. Wed - Sun 9-6. Tues - Sun 10-6. PYO fields close to new arrivals 45 minutes prior to closing*. Open Friday to Sunday 9 to 5. This is yummy with ice cream or fresh whipped cream. 1 1/2 cup sugar. 1/2 tsp. salt. 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder. Combine fruit and 1/2 cup sugar; let stand 10 minutes. Melt butter in 12 x 8 x 2 baking dish; set aside. Combine flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt in mixing bowl; add milk and mix well. Pour batter into baking dish. Pour fruit mixture evenly over batter-do not stir. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes or until golden brown. Yield: 6-8 servings. This recipe adapts well to most fruits!

Why are our Strawberries so good? We grow our strawberries on raised beds, so picking is much easier, we use plastic mulch so they are clean, and most of all, it’s the soil. The soil on our farm just seems to make ‘em taste great. Strawberry season begins in early May and runs through early June. Call the market 804-448-0395. Or check our Facebook page for current conditions. Blueberries were first planted on Mt Olympus in 1985. Blueberry season begins toward the end of June and lasts through July.

As with many of you, I started making jewelry as a hobby. The hobby got a little out of control when I started purchasing lots and lots of supplies! People started asking me if I sold the bracelets and necklaces, and that led to small shows and boutiques. Then people asked if I had a website. And, here we are!
