Musings of a Gardener

I am a gardener and garden designer working in Central England since 2008. I specialise in the sympathetic renovation and restoration of gardens. Follow me as I chart progress in various gardens. One of my hobbies includes Hermès silks, so expect my blog to be interspersed with the odd scarf or three. For me wearing a piece of silk art is the perfect antidote to a day's hard graft.

Musings of a Domestic Goddess

Thursday, October 13, 2016. In his address The Doctrine of and Inspired Constitution. Gary Marshall argues that it is easier to defend the inspired nature of the Constitution if we understand its supporting principles. I was asked to answer this question:. How does your understanding of the supporting principles enhance your ability to explain the "just and holy principles" embodied in the Constitution? The Supreme Law of the Land must be set forth in a Written Constitution. A republic is the best form o...

musings of a free spirited girl

Musings of a free spirited girl. Sunday, March 1, 2015. Ongoing obsession with a '90s trend: the slipdress. My reason/s for stocking up on them? Slip dresses aside, I'm definitely nursing a sleep wear obsession because the circuits in my head tell me that they're the best things to wear on most lazy days and nights - you can sleep in them, you also can go out in them if you dared (and I actually do, so heh.). This include sleep rompers, silky/satiny pajamas, etc. Tuesday, January 6, 2015. Outfit of the d...

Musings of a language teacher. Friday, December 15, 2006. Today in class we were looking at stuff to do with populations. I checked in Wikipedia ( www.wikipedia.com. And it says the USA has a population of about 300 million. I also checked the populations of the cities we were looking at. Go to http:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List of metropolitan areas by population. To see which cities are the biggest. Tokyo tops the list if you are looking at the wider area of the city. Musings of a Moron

Musings of a Moron. Friday, September 26, 2008. The anniversary part I. We were friends for almost an year and a half when we eventually met up. Weird, I know. And when we did meet, we got along like a house on fire. After a characteristic and typical awkwardness from me at the initial meeting, it was as if we had been friends forever. We laughed, we cried, we fought, we made up and did anything in between and beyond. Once that realisation dawned on me, It took me only a few days to tell her how I felt.
