Happy New Year from WordPress.com! Each rocket represents a post published on this blog in 2015. And because we like to share, we made the fireworks available as a jQuery plugin on GitHub. Some browsers are better suited for this kind of animation. In our tests, Safari and Chrome worked best. Your overall score is not known. We made beautiful, animated fireworks to celebrate your blogging! A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 560. About Me. Sanya! What is REAL Fear? To my...

Sola Means Peace In Pashto. An Interview With Dr. Amina Wadud. April 30, 2015. April 30, 2015. This is an interview that Dr. Wadud did during her visit to the Nordic Forum in the Swedish city of Malmö in June 2014. The interview was conducted by “Feministiskt Perspektiv”, a Swedish magazine. The original interview is in Swedish, and so I translated it to English. There is no verse in the Koran that says that men must lead the prayer, there is no verse in the Qur’an that says women cannot lead the prayer.

Open Letter From A Brother In Islam To His Sisters In Islam! | Sola Means Peace In Pashto

Sola Means Peace In Pashto. Open Letter From A Brother In Islam To His Sisters In Islam! March 22, 2015. April 2, 2015. This Open Letter is dedicated to all my sisters in Islam, and it is written with you in mind. However, my brothers are also welcome to read it too. I am writing it because, even though I myself am a young man, and not a woman, I feel that our faith, as it is practiced and understood today, privileges men over women, and thus, me over you. Why did I feel this way? Well, we can start with...

Sola Means Peace In Pashto. March 3, 2017. If I could write in Arabic, It would be like writing with the deepness of the ocean at the tip of the pen, with no barriers to hold back the crashing of the waves,. If I could write in Arabic, I would write God-consciousness, and the word would be like the sun, while the meanings would be like its infinite rays of light: to protect, save, preserve, guard against evil,. January 14, 2017. January 15, 2017. My insomnia has imprisoned me, without even asking my soul...

A Plea For An End To Gender Segregation In Mosques | Sola Means Peace In Pashto
https://solameanspeaceinpashto.wordpress.com/2015/06/06/a-plea-for-an-end-to-gender-segregation-in-mosques
Sola Means Peace In Pashto. A Plea For An End To Gender Segregation In Mosques. June 6, 2015. June 6, 2015. How would I feel If i was denied access to some mosques? How would I feel, If my prayer space was much smaller than the mens? How would I feel, If i had to pray behind a barrier? How would I feel, if i was not allowed to be an Imam? How would I feel, If i was not allowed to call the Adhan, or recite the Qur’an? Islam gives us so much unity, but we are splitting up ourselves. Humanhood is the ke...

April 17, 2015. I have come to a point in my life where i choose who i want to be close with as we all know we are easily influencd by the people who surrounds us.I have also learnt that I should not be a people pleaser and can not expect everyone to like me or accept me. Sometimes a smile is all we can give to a stranger as we do not know what they are facing in life right now and our smile can make a difference. Never look down in others just because they don’t meet your expectations. Eve...If you coul...

April 4, 2015. April 4, 2015. How is it going? Alhamdullilah all is well on my end. Ever since I finally posted my “Welcome” post I have been more anxious than ever to start posting all kinds of things Islam. It has been very tedious days where I have just crashed with the intention of working on another post. Then I ran into a little predicament… what would be my first topic? I knew there was so much ground to cover and so many things to be brought to light, but where would I begin? Walekum’Salam ...
