The Mustang was the brain-child of John Gladden, whose Glendale California company manufactured aircraft parts during World War II. After the war ended, Gladden thoughts turned to his passion for motorcycles. He decided what was needed was an inexpensive lightweight machine. The last motorcycle rolled off the Glendale production line in 1963.

We just put a new Mikuni carburetor on, and new Black paint, Base coat clear coat, using Dupont Chromabase. Starts and runs better then New. 125 HP motor. with .60 over piston. New black base coat, clear coat, frame and forks powder coated. upswept pipe, transmission gone through, new chrome flywheel, new tires, completely brand new. 1948 Salisbury Model 85.
