sewzenmama: April 2009
http://sewzenmama.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html
Friday, April 10, 2009. I realized when I was uploading these pics they are all skirts and tee shirts! Didn't even realize I had been doing that :). A boatneck tee (on little i) from ottobre 1/09 the neck was odd and fiddly, but ended fine. Corny (ahahahaha, yes dad that is for you! Tees for the boys. Such a fun print and very appropriate for our location: middle of nowhere Kansas. Ooga booga tee for little i, this is another one of those I can't believe I can buy this fabric reprint! How did that happen?

http://sewzenmama.blogspot.com/2009/09/back-off-vacation.html
Monday, September 7, 2009. Okay alright, I actually came back over a month ago but have had so much going on that I took an extended vacation from the blog. I may be taking a bit of a hiatus from blogging about sewing and crafting because everything will be soon put in boxes to be moved overseas! We found out that Kev's next assignment is in The Netherlands, we are very excited to be moving and closer to some of my family that lives in Europe. Now onto the sewing. :). Reversible skirt with comfy waistband.

sewzenmama: November 2008
http://sewzenmama.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 16, 2008. Little i was in need of some pants (or trousers for those not in the states ;) everything in the stores were either blah or too short in leg so it was time to hit the sewing machine assembly line style. All of the pants are cut exactly the same using the 10 minute pants/one pattern piece method but they are different and fun! Close up of the outerspace and cars prints. That's all for now, had a sick baby this last week so didn't get too much done. :). Monday, November 10, 2008.

sewzenmama: May 2009

Saturday, May 30, 2009. An Ode to French Terry. I have a confession to make, I only recently (like really recently, about 2 months ago) figured out what french terry fabric is. Yup, no idea that my favorite zip hoodie wasn't some kind of weird sweatshirt but not sweatshirt fleece material. Had no idea what it was called or that I could even buy. French terry fabric. Obviously, I have been living under a rock. Once I figured out what the favorite material was called, and hurrah! In a lovely mocha color.

sewzenmama: February 2009
http://sewzenmama.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 23, 2009. Yup, gonna show ya my dirty laundry today! I know y'all are terrible excited about that! Haha, see, nothing to cringe about! A patchy scarf for baby n; I've seen a couple of patchwork scarves for woman on etsy, and had a stack of charm squares that I thought would work well, the reverse is some textured fleece I had leftover from a hat and mitten set. The pattern is new look 6774. Close up of bodice, i like that the top actually crosses in front and isn't a mock cross. I really...

Stitching, Quilting and Travelling the World. The next project…. March 1, 2012 by aussieinspain. I have followed the lovely Alissa’s pattern. To make these placemats for my friend in Sydney. Her only request was for me to use cobalt blue and white. They are a bit larger than your standard Australian placemats or table settings at about 14 by 19 inches. I think it gives them character. Now to find time to quilt them! I plan on using a straight line technique. 8211; made by the lovely Blooming Poppies.

Rediscover: 2/365: Daydream
http://funkyhulagirl.blogspot.com/2011/01/2365-photo-play.html
Sunday, January 2, 2011. So far, so good. I've kept up with my blog (hahah, 2nd day) as well as my 365 Photo/Day Hoopla. On Facebook. The family had an awesome day with my brother in law, Paul who is visiting from L.A. Uncle Martin also tagged along. I'm enjoying my winter break (although it does not feel like winter with all the sun) so I'm dreading the coming days that will lead my closer to the start of student teaching. I wish I can sit all day and daydream, like this:. Labels: Ohana means family.
