The boy’s “Pickle Period”. Mdash; Leave a comment. April 29, 2014. He wasn’t too keen on how crooked it was turning out, so he left this one unfinished, and attempted his pièce de résistance. The biggest rotten pickle he could create with the resources he was given. Step one. Draw the middle rottenness in all it...You are comment...

Invoke your right to complain and VOTE. Invoke your right to complain and VOTE. October 5, 2012. Anyone who knows me personally knows how passionately I feel about voting. It was the way I was raised; as long as I can remember my mom took me along to the polling station where she cast her ballot. Sometimes her party won, sometimes they lost but she always instilled in me the fact that change cannot come without action. Complaints rarely made things happen. Their parents didn’t vote, so they don’t. Th...

Little Fish: My pinterest brain

Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Is passe; I can get an entire day's worth of news with 5 minutes of reading on my smartphone.". I write these things as if I'm derisive or judgmental of Twitter, but I'm not - I myself don't bother to make phone calls or read newspapers, either, and I can't even say that I at least get my information or social interaction via Twitter. I just think it's a bizarre phenomenon, and I'm fascinated by it. I feel almost defective because I can't get into the flow of it.

Monday, September 3, 2012. Menu Plan Monday (Sept 3, 2012). To prevent this pattern continuing even with the kids back in school (albeit the boy only goes for the mornings), I'm back to a weekly menu plan. I've done it off and on in the past, occasionally wrote about it on my other/old blog. And it really helps me feel more organised. Lemon Dijon Chicken (I use thighs with this. Marinade) with broccoli, rice, and corn. I'm out, so I'll just set up G and the kids with leftover from Monday/Tuesday.

Little Fish: November 2011
http://tinyfishbowl.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 9, 2011. The power of the smelly sheets. The boy, like many kids (actually, like many adults), has a stubborn streak. When he gets something stuck in his head, it's near-impossible to change his mind. The frustrating thing about it is that what. He decides to allow to stick in his head is often unreasonable, rarely predictable, and usually seems to have nothing to do with anything that has happened before, is happening at the moment, or will happen in the future. To make a long story ...

Enter the Greenhouse 1.0. The Gallery of a Young Girl. April 1, 2010. Most photos on this blog are taken with a Nikon D40 SLR, switching between two lenses: 18 to 55mm and 55 to 200mm. If I had the cash, I would UPGRADE seriously to the Nikon D5000 and a AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR II. Recently, however, a few pix and videos have been collected using iPhone technology. 😉. 2 Responses to “Random Tidbits”. April 10, 2010 at 10:13 PM. April 10, 2010 at 10:17 PM.
