Wednesday, 30 November 2011. I have photoshopped the fruit and 'posterised' them myself. each has 4-5 colour. I think they look a bit more 'cartoon' like and playful, and looks better than the different colours. They reflect the colour of the drink as well. so it would match up with that too. They are all designed in the same way, but I think that they show different kinds of people. a 'tomboy' character, 'sexy', 'attitude' and 'bubbly' personality. Tuesday, 29 November 2011. Monday, 26 September 2011. Want some kinda image on it. but what? This is a better layout. still not great :. Think this is pretty simple and effective. I think you can recognise that its me (from everyone else in the studio.) and what I do. needs contact info. Not a very good photograph. but just for an idea. Just used plain paper. but I intend on finding better card to print on when doing it properly. 18/10/2011: Been working on business card again - so it can be stamped. Still working on the back.

Thursday, 8 December 2011. The wallpaper designs would be seen in the fitting rooms and on the shop floor on one wall. I wanted to keep the illustrations in black, as from the crits I was told that the images were too mixed, as some were coloured and others weren't. and it didn't work. I can see this now. Friday, 9 December 2011. The labels have changed slightly in shape but they are quite similar to the original. I wanted to change them a bit and add some flirtatious words in. The aim of the label is that the person has to turn the bottle to read the chat up line. The thought behind it is that the bottle is flirting with the person. however, the person drinking may use the cheesy chat ups as an ice breaker. just to make the night that bit more interesting. There is a label for each flavour.

I also like the print quality on some of these, the rough texture and out of line. I want to look a using one or two colours for my collection, and many of these use this many colours. Wednesday, 10 February 2010. The beginning of the prints. Using monoprinting. Testing out screenprinting, just using cyan and magenta. Drew the image out by hand. Very 'messy' and unsure, however, it is only an experiment! Collagraph work, using an angry duck as the image. I really like how these have turned out. I think the textures really work. This is the plate that was used to ink up with oil paint. Cyan, Yellow, Magenta and Black (CYMK):. Magenta and cyan on the left and added yellow on the right.
