パナマのインテリオール（内地）へ行ってきました。フィールドトリップの付き添いだったので、社会科見学好きな私にはとっても興味深い体験ができた４日間でした。 ３日目にカメラを持って行き忘れたので、パイナップル畑の写真がとれなかったのは本当に残念でした・・・。 最初のストップはエルカニョにある、国立公園。１６世紀にスペイン人が入植した時には２００万人ものインディアンが住んでいたという、コクレ県の遺跡。名前さえもついていないこの遺跡は、パナマの悪の根源を象徴しているような場所。癒着が横行していて公共インフラの整備がまったく進まないパナマ政府。この遺跡も１９７５年までほったらかしになっていたため、めぼしい遺物（石像や貴金属など）は、アンティークコレクターにもっていかれ放題になっていたそうです。いまだに発掘は終わっておらず、２０００年前の遺骨も雨にふっきさらし。お粗末な博物館（というか掘っ立て小屋ᦀ...コーヒーファーム＆工場の見学もしました。コーヒーは毎日３杯くらい飲んでる程のコーヒー好きですが、生産現場を目にするのはこれが始めて。写真の豆は...最後に、馬のランチにも見学にいきまし...

Golfo de Chiriqui: Food. いぇい！刺身だよ！カツオとアジの間くらいのお味でした。フロリダ人に言わせれば、「そんな臭い魚食べるの！？」ってことでしたが、ええ、日本人、なんでも食べまっせ！シティに帰ってから、たたきにして生姜で食べたら更においしかったよ～。魚は、釣ってからすぐ絞めて、身を１日置いたものが刺身として一番おいしいそうです。（クマパパ談）。 そして、そして。岩場で発見して、収穫してきたこちら。伊豆人なら、泣いて喜ぶ、「いいっこ貝」です。きれいでしょう～。もう伊豆ではこんなに採れないって聞いてたから、発見したときは本当にうれしかったよ！ あ、ちなみに、いいっこは、伊豆の地方でしか食べないのかしら？サザエをもっと海臭くした感じの味です。ああ、また食べたくなってきた。 たまにスーパーで見かけても高い！！！ だったら、サザエや帆立のように食べ応えがある方が良いかしら・・・と思っちゃうのよねぇ～. もうすぐ“お帰り”だね！ October 13, 2009 at 8:46 AM. Golfo de Chiriqui: the peninsula. 半島のまわりを、ゴルフカートにのせて案内してくれます。振り落とされそうになりながら、森を進むすすむ～。 Pacific Bay Resorts had a lovely backyard. 野生の王国なのです。ここは。おさるさん、こっち見てます。鹿もいよ。 Lots of howler monkeys in the trees. リゾートになっている半島には２つのプライベートビーチが。こちらは船をつけてもらった浜とは反対にいちするビーチ。だっれーもいません。貸切です。 And the beach was nice too. 浜にせまる熱帯林。イメージするコスタリカってこんな感じです。実際地理的に近いからか？黒めの火山砂浜に、やしの木がうっそうとする森が隣接してます。 見えるかな～？蟹さんがたっくさんそぞろ歩きしているのが。人間があるくと、さわさわさわーっと逃げていきます。その数、無数。 The beach was covered with tiny crabs. All those dark specks are crabs.
