Life with Benjamin and Elijah! Friday, May 28, 2010. A new sous chef in town. There's a new sous chef in town and you're looking at him! Ben has always liked helping in the kitchen. He does a pretty good job if you ignore the fact that he must taste every ingredient (which doesn't always go so well for him as you can imagine). Snapshots of our family. Friday, February 4, 2011. Of course, just like everyone else in the midwest, we have been snowed in this week. Not only have we been snowed in, but we've been dealing with a lovely stomach virus. It started with Jada last Friday and has finally [I hope! Ended with me today. Not a fun time to be snowed in, but I guess it worked out pretty well since Josh was able to stay home from work with the kids due to the weather while I was under the weather. Ben made the boys a space suit. Who knew a diaper box could provide hours and hours of entertainment! Here's Ben teaching Wade how to read on some flashcards he found in our toy closet. Henry is still trying to make the space suit work for him. :). Now they are reading a space book. Ben LOVES planets, stars, and all things space.
