Although I really dislike crowds, especially in Midtown Manhattan, I do always enjoy seeing the holiday windows in New York City. And I especially enjoy the particularly whimsical and nonsensical windows, like this one, where we see a squirrel inexplicably riding a penny-farthing bicycle over the roofs of various townhouses whilst wearing a Santa hat. The Arrival of Terry. R and I have been tossing the idea around of getting a dog. We've talked about it off and on ever since we moved into the house. Astonishingly, it has been one year since Rotsa and I wed at our catholic wedding ceremony. I'm sure everyone says this at some point in their marriage, but I really can't believe it's been that long already! After four years of dating, a year and a half of engagement, and one year of being married he is my person that I love and with which I enjoy every minute! Laverne and Shirley were adopted to a fellow foster couple within the rescue. They had been looking for chinchillas for years, but naturally did not want to go through a pet store. Apparently, chinchillas are pretty rare to find through a rescue organization. So you can imagine how excited they were to discover that the very rescue they foster for ended up with two! It was my birthday on Tuesday and as such I am now 28 years old! I'm not sure how I'm going to be able to top year 27 since that's when. Into the catholic church. I traveled to Washington DC. For the Experimental Biology conference. I met my biological grandparents and aunt. For the first time. My family's 18 year old cat, Marmalade. Rotsa and I got married. And went on a little honeymoon. And then we got married again. I was hooded at the graduation. We moved in to our new home. For the first time.
