The NLHS Tri-M since it began in the 2003-2004 school year, has fundraised and hosted several events. Future events may possibly include a recital-series by instrumentalists from across the US. Fundraised to purchase a wall-marquee to be placed outside the auditorium. It is updated weekly and announces events in the auditorium. On May 21st, Tri-M hosted the New Century Sax Quartet concert. The quartet had a sax player from each of the sax family members (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Bari). On February 5th, ...

The Inaugural induction ceremony was held on March 18th, 2004. Officers and members were inducted as Colleen Smiley (Southern Division Chair of Tri-M) and Bradford Gulley (NC Chair of Tri-M) presented certificates and welcomed new members. The ceremony was held in the auditorium of NLHS.
