When we run towards DC to start on this trail, we start out downhill. Which is great because you make great time on your trip out. But the downhill slope is SO gradual that you don’t feel it. Thursday, August 18, 2011. Willa Kate is 6 months old! She is getting so big! We had her 6 month check up today and she weighed 16 lbs. (56%) and is 27 inches long (89%). She is just precious! I could just eat her up! She is starting to sit up by herself and she looks like such a big girl! She doesn't have any teeth yet, but I don't think it will be long until she gets her first one! Willa Kate is one messy girl! As soon as I start to her mouth with a spoon, she starts moving her hands toward her mouth!

On Saturday, Jackson's Texoma Eagles basketball team had their first win of the season. It was amazing to watch how much these boys have progressed this season. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. No More Binky For Piggy, or Brogan. One of our fave books right now is "No More Pacifier For Piggy" but we change the words. We say No More Binkie for Piggy.it flows better and Brogan calls his pacifier a binkie. Since Saturday, Brogan has asked maybe once a day for his binkie. He doesn't cry and whine about it anymore; just asks where it is. He's been sleeping through the night just fine and naps are getting a tad bit better. I'm SO super proud of our little guy! I have been blessed with the pleasure of serving as his Godmother. He is SO cute and such a good baby! Addie had to smell all of the flowers! She and another of Owen's cousins, Mikey, had a great time together. Back at the party, Poppy enjoyed playing with the little ones.and vise versa! Me and my older sis, Lori.
