Maybe because most of my male ancestors were in the Civil war, World War I, World War II and the Korean War. I saw a special on television awhile back on " TRENCH ART". It was new to me but maybe you all are familiar with it. Trench art is the art that was fashioned in the "trenches" during the war from military castoffs especially artillery shells. I'ts been open for one month but I have waited to avoid all the lines until today. My grandchildren were out of school today so we made a fun girls trip. Had lunch in the restaurant there too. The store is about 1 mile from my home- so close. Christmas season will sure be busy I'm sure! The girls had Swedish Meatballs and Chicken Fingers. I'll be leaving my shoes at the door!
