A spice that I love. Integrative health coach and plant-based chef. Ground fenugreek is an edible spice found in many curry powders. Fenugreek also appears to double as an anticancer agent[. Make your armpits smell like maple[. Fenugreek is also mucilaginous, meaning it gets thick and gooey, so only a small amount is necessary! Though slimy, and somewhat of a turn-off for a few people I suppose, mucilage really is great, it helps as a demulcent and aids digestion. Thats great and all, but how do I eat it?

Friday, March 29, 2013. Blueberry Muffins.as in breakfast food. I made these and LOVED them. Doug liked them ok but thought they needed more sugar. I would agree if you are making muffins for snacks or treats or whatever. For a hearty breakfast carb to go with your eggs and bacon, however, I think these are great.
