Novel Rambles: Journeys, Adventures, and Good Books. Living Large in Retirement. New York City Rocks. I had an absolutely fabulous time attending the Book Expo and doing a little sightseeing in Manhattan–in fact, I would go so far as to say it was the best visit ever. My friend Janice and I left Tuesday morning and returned Sunday, and in between we burned many candles at both ends but we survived, and more importantly, so did Manhattan. Seafood market in Chinatown. It was quite overwhelming. June 2, 2015.
