Thursday, March 03, 2005. Aris is a kind of mash, which is one of the Omani foods that we eat in the first day of Eid. It contains ghee; crop of wheat cooked with meat or chicken and finally it is smashed. Aursiyah is another kind of Omani food that we eat. It is a kind of rice that is cooked with meat in a very high temperature till it is well cooked. They serve the Aursiyah with a special sauce that comes with it, this sauce called torshah.
