Čtvrtek 23. ledna 2014. In harsh winters the biggest artificial lake in South Moravia Region in the Czech Republic get's frozen. It's surface and surrounding serves as a habitat for over wintering Bean Goose, Whitefront and Red-breasted goose. They overnight on the ice and each morning set off to search for food on fields. They return each evening at sunset to spent a night in safety on open surface of the lake (1100 hectares). The right temperature for a real winter trip. Cormorants sitting, drying wings.

Fotografování a cestování - Otto Hauck. Silvestr na Lysé hoře. 6 ledna 2017 v 18:57 Otto Hauck. Poslední týden roku jsem trávil jako vždy na horách (pravidelně od r. 1990). Nicméně i po tolika horských pobytech jsem byl příjemně překvapen dokonalým rozhledem z Lysé hory (1323 m) v Beskydách. Tak pěkně jsem z ní Tatry a Fatry ještě nikdy neviděl, a navíc za pohodové teploty cca -2 C a slabého vánku. Co si více přát na závěr roku, kromě zdraví.
