Since then, we have been BUSY, BUSY, BUSY. Living life to its fullest! Hayden will have his 13 month birthday celebration soon! We are loving every moment with him! Tuesday, April 28, 2015. It doesn't feel like much time has passed since I last held the girls, until I look at Mira and realize that she is starting school in the fall! Wow, where has the time gone. I know we all use that phrase, but really.where has it gone? I am so convicted that every person is valuable at every moment of their life, and that we benefit greatly by participating the lives of others, especially those who can't meet our hopes and expectations. Palliative care is that opportunity.

Friday, August 24, 2012. The anniversary of Hope's death, holds the significance of being an 'ending'. I am finding that I grieve the loss of both my girls and everything that came with them at this point. On Aug. 14th I wrote in my journal:. Today is Hope's heaven day. It has been one year since she died. Today marks the day when our journey with our special girls ended. Today I grieve the loss of our daily companions, our respite workers who helped, nourished and strengthened us without even knowing it.
