Our Angels got gifts and Bibles and our caregiver families were blessed with giant boxes and bags of TONS of food from our food pantry. I got a lot of hugs and a lot of gratitude from some very overwhelmed peoople. So, here we are. We made it to Christmas. Oh.well.there was Thanksgiving. Alec earned this award the very first day of school. Then he earned another one before Christmas. Then he earned another one last Monday. Of course, this is fantastic, and I am so so proud of his sweetness. In case you can't decipher:. 1 Alec helped clean up after craft time. 2 Helped his friends put their books away. 3 Helped with nap mats.

As a foreign device in his growing body, it is not holding up. At the beginning of the year, we had some testing done that showed the port should be working fine, but the nurses have had a terrible time flushing it and getting blood out of it. Call it a day! We appreciate the continued prayers for healing and for a successful surgery tomorrow.
