A day in the garden, me trying to get the bonfire going, to no real joy until it was time to come in, but then still the fire refused to burn all of the rubbish. Also, spent some of the day painting the seat by the pond, and spraying the roses against black spot. Carol was planting some of the purchases from Saturday. Monday, August 30, 2010. This morning was spent cutting up a tree that was blown down in the high winds that we experienced yesterday.
