I have been a bit of a basket case lately thinking about him turning 2! It just does not seem possible! I have decided though to embrace each moment with J, whether it's melting down, laughing, or running around like a crazy person! And I pray for wisdom to know how to handle each situation as it comes. God is so good and I am so so thankful for his life. (Even though as I type this, I am exhausted and thrilled that he is asleep)! Christmas Eve Family Picture (J looks thrilled). Busy on his new lap top :).

So much to be thankful for. Gratitude is the ability to experience life as a gift. Around this time of year I cannot help but look at my life and be thankful. God has blessed me with more than enough and I just have so much gratitude in my heart. I am thankful for:. Waking up this morning. Family and their unconditional, never ending love for us. The roof over our head. The warm place to lay our heads. The ability to walk/run. The food we eat. How kind words can make your day.

I have been so bad lately about updating this thing. nothing really new around here except that .Time is flying and my heart is melting because I know the days are few that I have left at home with J.I am still job hunting and I know and trust that God will provide. Keith is enrolled for summer classes and fall classes. He is very eager to get started! Please pray for us as we embark on this new chapter in our lives. Helping Dada build a fort in J's room. Me: I'm not feeling as Christmas-y this year knowing that the decroations will only be up for 3 weeks - not to say I don't want to put up the decor! Nathan started school mid August and he was still working on the basement for the first couple of weeks after school with the intention of getting ready for carpet around labor day. Tuesday, February 18, 2014. I have been waiting my whole life to be able to do crafts with my very own kids! At Christmas we did a little test to see if Reid would even enjoy it and boy did he! Valentine's was no different! We painted his little hand and he would open and close it look at me then spread his fingers out and we would press it down and he would just GRIN from ear to ear! It was SO much fun :) We made these for the kids at daycare! So we got some baby legs for our friends over in Eudora!
