Friday, 21 October 2011. Today marks 1 year since Brennan's Atresia Repair surgery (creating an ear canal and ear drum)! I can't believe it has been 1 whole year. In the middle of all the surgery stuff, I would have never thought we would have made it this far with such great results! We have been so pleased with the outcome! Wednesday, 28 September 2011. We had a follow-up appointment with Dr. Lewin today. I still can't believe it has been almost 7 months since his "New Ear" surgery. It was a quick appt. They took different pictures from different angles. Brennan doesn't have to wear tape on his arm anymore! AND he probably won't need the "stage 2"/second surgery! We are so excited! Also, we don't have to have another appt. until 6 months from now (his 1 year surgery anniversary), then once a year after that. Update on Trey ...

Tuesday, 30 August 2011. Brennan started his weekly preschool at church today. It's every Tuesday for 3 hours and is a "mommy and me" preschool! Faith gets to be in the nursery while I spend one-on-one time with Brennan in his class. It was so fun! He can't wait to go back again next week! Me and the kiddos before class. Sparkles make me smile. since (being now a resident of oregon) the glimmer of sunshine is something that makes me smile. simply because we see less of the sunshine up here. (by the way. did you know that in the springtime it isn't supposed to be 75-85 degrees? 2: hanging from my birdcage {minus the bird}, next to a lamp and candle that allow the glass to glimmer, glisten, and shine. Ps more to come on our little adventures in oregon. }.

Saturday, July 31, 2010. Hot Air Balloon Festival. This evening we went to the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Santa Paula. Ethan loved seeing all the pretty colorful balloons and it made me realize that I had never seen one up close before. I have seen them in the sky from miles away but never up close. They were huge and extremely beautiful when they were all lit up. Here are a few of the pretty photos we took. Ethan got to touch one while it was on the ground being inflated. Friday, January 29, 2010. Today I took Ethan to try out a dance class called Toddler Boogie. He was very weary at first but GG. Helped him warm up and then he was dancing his heart out in no time. Ethan wrapped around my leg. Helping Ethan get into it. Flying around the room like an airplane. Excited about his yellow tambourine. He will kill me some day for this photo.
