Our homeschool escapades: February 2014

http://www.ourhomeschoolescapades.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html

Doing life with my children. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Our next project was the Solar system. Jac really enjoyed this part of homeschooling since this is his favorite topic in the world right now. I was on a course for a little bit more than a month, so hubby did most of the "formal" homeschooling and I just did the lapbooks with the kids. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). We also learned that:. We lear...

Our Life: Expectations

http://onslewe.blogspot.com/2015/04/expectations.html

Monday, 20 April 2015. I was confronted with expectations the last couple of weeks. What I expected and what I received. I am just writing this for myself not sure if I will even post this blog. During this time I was again confronted with expectations, and what I expect of my family and friends, but never really tell them, of my husband and children and then of God. I realize that what I expect is too much or just wrong. I also expect too much of myself, to be perfect in every way. I need to learn to li...

Thursday, 11 June 2015. Our long wait in Turkey is finally over. I wrote about Expectations and how my expectation was that we will be out of Macedonia for only 2 weeks…. well in the end it took us two and a half months to come back to Skopje. So what happened in Turkey…. Other than homeschool we waited …. well luckily not everyday, some days we had fun. Children’s Day in Turkey. Men’s (and boy’s) bowling night. Homeschool Escapade

A journal of my experience homeschooling my boys. Thursday, June 9, 2011. Now that we are done with school for the summer, I was trying to come up with an idea of ways to keep Logan doing school and busy, without him feeling like he is doing school. I have seen this posted on a few different blogs, Ginger Snaps. Is one of them, and decided I would give it a try. I was hesitant at first, but I gave Logan his first Bingo card on Monday and he only has 2 squares left to complete and it's only Thursday.
