Always Abundantly Blessed: July 2009
http://alwaysabundantlyblessed.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Sunday, July 19, 2009. Night at the Museum. We discovered that a local childrens museum hosts slumber parties relatively inexpensively and that is where our adventure began. Some 15 kids ranging in age from three to nineteen and an equally large number of adults descended on the museum at 7:00 pm Friday night, and some 12 hours later were still going strong. The kids were very patient but chomping at the bit to get back up and play in the musuem "after dark" which I have to admit was lots to fun! About 6...

Mossy Creek MYF: Hole in One!
http://mossycreekmyf.blogspot.com/2009/06/hole-in-one.html
Service Project at the Parish's Home. Sunday, June 21, 2009. Wednesday night was Youth PuttPutt and Pizza night. We left the church around 6pm hoping to have a little cooler weather by going later in the evening. Boy that didn't work! It was extremely hot, but the youth were even hotter as almost all of them had at least 1 hole in one! One of our girls hit two holes in one back-to-back! While one of our boys won a free game. His "Lucky" shot bounced off of the bricks and into the hole in one stroke.

Mossy Creek MYF: Wednesday Night Youth!
http://mossycreekmyf.blogspot.com/2009/06/wednesday-night-youth.html
Service Project at the Parish's Home. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. Wow what a night! We started off by meeting at the church and discussing God's abundant love. Our first scripture reading for the day came from John 3:16,. For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.". We then looked at John 13: 34 and 35,. June 10, 2009 at 7:28 PM. It sounds like it was an exciting night. I wish I could have been there to experience su...

Lee, Amanda, and Carson. Sunday, December 28, 2008. After 5 months of trying to get pregnant, we are FINALLY expecting! We are all so excited, however, it hasn't really hit me yet. I thought I was coming down with the stomach virus that Lee and Carson had last week, but I am happy to announce it was just morning sickness. The baby is due sometime at the end of August or first of September. I just wanted to share my excitement with my fellow bloggers! Posted by The Holcomb Family. I am so happy for you!

Always Abundantly Blessed: Aydan and Ansley are 8!
http://alwaysabundantlyblessed.blogspot.com/2009/10/aydan-and-ansley-are-8.html
Saturday, October 3, 2009. Aydan and Ansley are 8! I can hardly believe the kids are 8 and so grown up. The kids were given two options to celebrate their birthday this year. . . . Option One: The full scale blow out combo party or two separate celebrations as we have traditionally done on the weekend of their birthday. Option Two: We could use that money toward a Nintendo Wii and a Fall Break Trip to the Beach! The quickly opted for the "big" gift and trip to the beach (They are definately my kids!

Thursday, April 30, 2009. A Sick Bunch of Kids. So Sick and So Tired! In seven years, I have never had kids so sick. . . . This one is a story that must be remembered. . . before I conveniently block it from memory! By that afternoon his temperature was still quite high and Ansley came home very tired. Here we are one week later and Aydan is finally better and has returned to school. Brody is on the mend and hopefully this is one illness never to be repeated. But I still consider myself blessed t...When ...

2 fun Sons: Day 7: The adventure continues
http://2funsons.blogspot.com/2014/06/day-7-adventure-continues.html
Saturday, June 21, 2014. Day 7: The adventure continues. I think I am going to pull for the Netherlands to win the World Cup! It was truly a site to see. Stalls as far as the eye could see selling everything you could imagine. We sampled some of the freshest and tastiest fruit I have ever eaten, bought some cheese, and were generally amazed and entertained by the vastness of the market. It was like a portable Wal-Mart.
