Tuesday, March 20, 2012. The Barefoot Contessa's Lemon Bars. Today's the first day of Spring, and in honor of that (despite the snow and horrible rain) I made some lemon bars. Nothing screams Spring like lemon bars! I tried this recipe, and of course it was amazing. The key is fresh lemon. They don't really set properly if there isn't fresh lemon. 1/2 pound unsalted butter, at room temperature. 1/2 cup granulated sugar. 6 extra-large eggs at room temperature. 3 cups granulated sugar. Preheat oven to 350*.

Our Recipe Exchange: December 2011

http://www.ourrecipeexchange.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, December 22, 2011. I make this recipe every year. It is one of my favorites, obviously since it's loaded with lots of butter. Enjoy, I know I will! 1 lb powdered sugar (4 cups). 1-1/2 cups creamy peanut. 1 cup butter, softened. Labels: Peanut Butter Balls. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
