Patra's Embroidered Aprons: Ballarat Apron Festival.
http://patrasembroideredaprons.blogspot.com/2014/05/ballarat-apron-festival.html
Welcome to my Aprons blog. Included in my embroidery collection are nearly one hundred aprons, and I've had requests from Apron lovers around the world to create a blog to show them off. You can bring the pictures closeup by clicking on them in the bottom right hand corner. Enjoy! Wednesday, 14 May 2014. I'll add comments to some pics where there is something worth noting. The show was held in a lovely old church hall. Aprons lined the footpath up to the hall. Just as well it didn't rain! Dress and broll...

wideblueyarn: June 2008
http://wideblueyarn.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
My life, my craft.in my words. Wednesday, 4 June 2008. Things have been hectic for such a long time that I scarcely know what to do with myself now that we've arrived back in Australia. We have been back for around two weeks now and have been struck by a bad case of motivation loss. This makes it hard to get anything done.including blog posts. The time we spent in Canada was, as usual, not enough but we had a great time over there catching up with everyone and of course.shopping! The only bus with availa...

wideblueyarn: Fruit trees...my not so secret love
http://wideblueyarn.blogspot.com/2008/09/fruit-treesmy-not-so-secret-love.html
My life, my craft.in my words. Wednesday, 17 September 2008. Fruit trees.my not so secret love. I love fruit trees. I love the blossom in the spring, I love standing under the trees and pretending it's snowing as the petals fall around me. I love the hum of the bees that are attracted to the flowers and mostly I love that something so beautiful will produce delicious fruit with very little help from me! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dirt, dirt and more dirt. Fruit trees.my not so secret love.

http://wideblueyarn.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
My life, my craft.in my words. Tuesday, 30 September 2008. Apologies for the quietness of the blog recently. Even when I’ve posted my heart hasn’t been in it. I think I’m going to take a little break…a few weeks or so. SO….I hope everyone enjoys the next few weeks and I will be back soon, bright, shiny and raring to blog again! Links to this post. Tuesday, 23 September 2008. Sunday was an early start, we borrowed a Ute and a trailer and headed up towards Bendigo. The day was sunny, the sky blue and w...

Val has her say: June 2007
http://carltonrules.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Val has her say. Wednesday, June 20, 2007. It just keeps getting better. Tomorrow we are off to Adelaide in South Australia. By train, where I can gawk out the window to my heart's content for 10 hours. We will have plenty of reading matter, plus we can walk around the train, go to the restaurant carriage etc. and look forward to a week of being tourists. Coincidentally friends took the train over yesterday and we will meet them for dinner on Thursday. Tuesday, June 19, 2007. Today was a special day.

Val has her say: July 2007
http://carltonrules.blogspot.com/2007_07_01_archive.html
Val has her say. Thursday, July 26, 2007. My first craft show. Today I went to the Craft and Quilt Fair. In Melbourne. I was a bit apprehensive about the anticipated crowds, but I got there early (9.20) and had previously planned out what I wanted to see. As I approached Jeff's Shed*, I felt a part of an army of like minded people. Marching along with me were women who, well, had that crafty look about them. It was a hoot! Wednesday, July 25, 2007. Montsalvat, 1930s artist colony. Who I've met previously...

Val has her say: Just to prove I'm in Hawaii
http://carltonrules.blogspot.com/2007/10/just-to-prove-im-in-hawaii.html
Val has her say. Monday, October 29, 2007. Just to prove I'm in Hawaii. This was taken at a beachside restaurant where Dad and I had lunch today. Life is good. I spent the morning at the zoo, and went back again after lunch. Even though it was Sunday, there were no crowds to contend with - everyone's at the beach. I saw flamingos for the first time since a trip to Florida in the 1950s. Such a beautiful color. The galapagos tortoises were awesome. This one was quite lively, and HUGE. Love and hugs,. Thank...

wideblueyarn: July 2008
http://wideblueyarn.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
My life, my craft.in my words. Thursday, 31 July 2008. I've been seeing this around the blog scene recently and, loving the idea of it, I just had to try it for myself. I've listed the titles and photographers below cause I think that's important. Why don't you try it out for yourself? 1 Type your answer to each of the questions into the Flickr Search. 2 Using only the first page, pick an image. 3 Copy and paste each of the URL's for the images into Mosaic Maker. 1 What is your first name? And beading an...
