Brighter days for Mecp2 dup. boys. Friday, June 19, 2009. Meet CJ and his Brother:. CJ was diagnosed with MecP2 Duplication in 2008. He was born May 2007 and right from the start melted the hearts of everyone who looked his way; with his doll like face, gorgeous mop of hair and Angelic eyes! CJ has severe developmental and growth delays, and multiple health complication. He has to attend regular physio, speech and occupational therapy sessions as well as other medical appointments.
