I was born and raised right here in Marshall County! I am married to Ted Booth, who teaches and coaches at Murray Middle School. We have been married for 11 years and have two cats at home, Lady and Tigger. We are big football fans and enjoy going to games. I enjoying reading, running, swimming, biking, camping, boating, snow skiing, and scuba diving! My favorite place to travel is to a beach! IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ATTENDANCE POLICY. State law defines a truant student as “one who has been absent from school and/or tardy to school without valid excuses three days or more.” It further states, “Any student who has been reported as truant two or more times is considered a habitual truant.” Since our state has a compulsory attendance law, we are required to report students who are habitual truants to the court system. We give students MAP tests to determine your child’s instructional level and to measure academic growth throughout the school year, and from year to year in the areas of Reading and Math.
