Monday, May 14, 2012. 2012 First Weekend At The Cabin! We got to spend a few days at the cabin last week. This was our list of priorities:. Spend lots of time outside. Spend some time in the water. Eat lots of smores. Here is how we did:. We all had smores! We spent lots of time outside. Even when we were cranky about it. We had some more smores. Jer got to use his new toy! Lucy spent some time in the water! Ellen was a bit more cautious. But, she did it! Good thing it was warm and cozy inside the cabin.

Thursday, September 12, 2013. A Day in the Woods. Last week we took a day to head over to Westboro, WI to visit Great-Grandma Kobielush and to play outside on her land. We usually have an exclusively 'girly' household. In general, Ellen flat, refuses to wear anything that isn't a dress. However, we do have some 'outdoorsey' in us too! Lucy found a little buddy. Tuesday, December 18, 2012. Earlier this month, Lucy lost her 1st tooth. It was wiggling for weeks and finally came out at school! The few days before it came out, we started calling it the drawbridge, because it would fold all the way out of her mouth like a drawbridge being lowered. Just look at that cute gap! Tuesday, September 11, 2012. First Day of Kindergarten, First Day of Preschool, First Haircut. . . sniff, sniff. Lucy started it all off with her first day of Kindergarten at Windom Dual Immersion School. We were all still a little tired. The bus comes at 6:45. Ugh! We went to see her off the bus and into the classroom for the first time. I know, crazy parents. . . but we weren't the only ones! Here she is at her locker. That was that. Friends. So cute! She is just great! She found her name right away.

Monday, January 30, 2012. What a wonderful trip! We had so much fun in Florida this year. Lucy and I got to leave a few days early to spend some very special time together celebrating Lucy's 5th birthday. That day we hung out by the pool and relaxed in the warm sun.
