認知症という病気を知っていますか 脳の障害によって記憶や認知の持続的な低下がおこり、正常な社会経済的活動が妨げられる状態を 認知症 いいます。 鍵をどこかに置き忘れた 今日朝食をべたかどうか思い出せない いつも挨拶を交わしていた隣人が誰なのか思い出せない などです。 アルツハイマー病は２０年以上もかかって病状が進行してゆきますが、脳の中ではいったいどんなことが起こっていくのでしょうか この病気にかかると、脳は萎縮して小さくなり、脳溝 脳みその溝 や脳室は拡大します。 が多く認められ、それとともにと太い神経線維がかたまって 線維束 できた 神経原線維変化. アルツハイマー病の治療薬として認可されている薬は、 日本では現在のところ塩酸ドネペジル アリセプト だけで、この塩酸ドネペジルは、脳に入ってアセチルコリンを分解するコリンエステラーゼ AChE という酵素の働きをを可逆的に阻害することにより脳内のACh量を増加させ、脳内アセチルコリン作動性神経系を賦活する作用を持っています。
