We have been part of The Piano Prep School since 2007. All three of our children started with The Beginning Piano Program. It is a great introduction to music and set them up for continuing piano lessons as well as other instruments. I love having different instructors in one place as it gives us exposure to different teaching styles and flexibility with our schedule! Sophie, Claudia and Charlotte's mom, Oakwood. How do I register? We offer secure online registration for private lessons and group classes. New students are asked to contact the school prior to registering online to discuss program information, tuition and scheduling. Current students may access the Online Student Portal via the PPS Student page. Do you offer discounts? What is your attendance policy? Your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you for the duration of a session; therefore, students are expected to attend all lessons when scheduled.

Jennifer Shoup, Owner/Piano*. Jennifer received a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance and Certificate in Piano Pedagogy from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from the University of Dayton. She began Doctoral studies at Arizona State University. Her teachers include Donald Hageman, Eric Street, Enrique Graf and Caio Pagano. Additional studies took place in Vienna, Austria and at Belgais Center for the Arts (Portugal). Abigail Call, Piano and Group Classes.

Beginning Piano is a fun, affordable way to try piano before enrolling in private lessons. Small group classes focus on basic music skills (note reading, rhythm) and include a variety of musical styles. Classes are offered in convenient, 4-week sessions for children (7-10 yrs), teens (11-16 yrs) and adults (16 yrs ) with no previous experience.
