I would say that for the first year after that pulmonary function test (and a sobering follow-up appointment with my MD), I decided that a little shortness of breath didn't warrant such a major life change as quitting smoking entailed. That approach is what I refer to as "Clepatra-Queen of de Nial.". I never became a nun. And although I did quit smoking that day, it wouldn't be the last time. Links to this post.

Monday, April 9, 2012. Today we got some great news! After a third ultrasound, measuring what felt like every tiny centimeter of the baby's brain, head, heart and body. my doctor told me the cysts are completely gone! Our little girl is thriving, growing and definitely stretching her strong little legs. She currently weighs an estimated 2 lbs and 9 oz. and is right on track for her due date.
