The PSK series water cooling bath is designed for the plastic or rubber strand pelletizing process. The extruded plastic strand is passed through the cooling bath then dried by an air blade and low pressure vacuum. The plastic material is thus cool and dry before entering the pelletizer. The strand then enters the pelletizer to cut to size. It has a simple design and the cooling water is recycled. The PSK cooling bath water can also be heated or chilled to suit production needs.
