Port Sunlight Wheelers: History
http://www.portsunlightwheelers.com/p/history.html
The fifties saw the "Wheelers" begin to make an impression on the local racing scene and by the next decade, Sunlight riders were gaining national success. At one point, the club held the national team competition record for 30 miles during the heyday of British Time Trialling. A renewed interest in racing over the last few years has seen renewed success in time trialling, road racing and mountain biking. Some have even dabbled in triathlons. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Once you have been out for a couple of rides as a guest with the club we would ask you to apply for membership. PSW Racing: March 2015
http://portsunlightwheelers5.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, 24 March 2015. 160;March saw the second KOM Race to the Spring Series at Marsh Tracks Rhyl hosted by Rhos on Sea CC. Once again the 'Sunlight' had 4 racing; KJ, Neil J, Andy Thom and Glyn. Calmer and slightly warmer conditions were perfect for racing! Right from the gun we made our intentions clear to either be in the break and not miss it this week, or mix it up on the front to keep the bunch as strung out as possible. A massive effort from KJ strung the bunch right out down the back straight.
