Life on Pine Street. Sunday, August 11, 2013. As we sit here on Pine Street on a Sunday evening, two chicklets are at their grandma's house and the oldest chicklet is home with the man and myself. What is on his agenda? He is getting his folders and paper ready for school. I have never seen him actually put time into it before. I am enjoying it. He is labeling, he is sorting. I see school fairies dance around his head. I am sure this fairy tale will end at 2:30 on Friday, when his first day is over.
