The Buechlers: April 2012
http://familybuechler.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Laine turned two October 20th, and we had a fun shindig in honor of Our Little Sunshine. We had a really great time with lots of friends, and for the second year in a row there was decent weather- which meant the bounce house borrowed from the neighbors could be utilized. (And I mean that, Laine was on it for an hour before the party started! After blowing out the candles: "Everybody EAT BIRTHDAY CAKE! Working on her visor. The morning after: excited the balloons are still around!

The Buechlers: May 2011
http://familybuechler.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 25, 2011. We had a fun playdate with Claire and Grace the other day. Laine enjoyed their playroom, and their doggie! They were both so sweet to Laine, and it was great for me to catch up with Dakota! Laine in a Box. I thought Laine might like to play around in one of the moving boxes we have hanging around, and I was right! Jayson was asking her what she would do at Little Gym in the morning and she said, "Baby." He said, "What else? Laine looked up and said, "Nikki." Clear as can be!

The Buechlers: January 2011
http://familybuechler.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Laine at Fifteen Months. Fifteen months. Can you believe it? To think back one year ago.well, wow. We were still just getting to know our little Laine. Her changes seemed fast then, and now it's something new each day! Since my last big post, Laine has added some "skills" to her repetoire. They include, (in loose chronological order since November):. Tickling Daddy's feet on request. She doesn't quite touch your feet when doing it, but we always laugh and laugh. Laine shows aff...

The Buechlers: June 2011
http://familybuechler.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 8, 2011. It sounds like an exaggeration, but there really is something new every day. The latest on Laine:. She was never much of a climber, but she can now get up on most chairs.and our coffee table. Just this morning she got up on our kitchen chairs unassisted. Then stood up. Yikes. Laine had her first sentence: "Shoe off! Now she is bossing us around all the time: "Daddy bike down! From it's spot hanging on the ceiling.). See the little pufferbillys all in a row. Laine can jump. An...

The Buechlers: January 2012
http://familybuechler.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 5, 2012. Here I am a few days into 2012, madly attempting to catch up on 2011. I only wish I could remember all the details, so many months later.but here's what's left in my brain. Laine, Kate Torrie, and Tyler. (All Psi U babies! Apple juice is a rare treat, and this was gone in the blink of an eye! Happy Second Birthday, Tyler! Napkin in the lap; always proper. Tyler had quite a fun time- I have never seen such a red face! Cupcakes and juice were a welcome reprieve.

The Buechlers: February 2011
http://familybuechler.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Love love love. We love this girl. And I just don't think she could get any cuter. Laine was very excited about her gifts. She saw them as soon as she came down from her nap, and gasped with amazement throughout the rest of the afternoon, each time she saw them. We could hardly wait until Daddy came home! She understood better how to open presents (she didn't quite get it at Christmas). For the potential tomboy in her. And for the girly-girl. My Grown Up Girl. I figured you ...

The Buechlers: December 2010
http://familybuechler.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 30, 2010. Two of Laine's favorite new items from Christmas are her new tent and her bath toy faucet. Peeking out at Daddy! One evening, I heard Jayson calling to me from the family room. I went downstairs and discovered his bottom-half sticking out of Laine's tunnel. He needed my assistance to get out- but I couldn't resist snapping a photo first! Laine spanking Daddy for being naughty. Her feet are so wrinkled once we pull her out, fussing! The left side of their driveway. I COVET thi...

http://mariscoop.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Mari's Memoirs of the Macrocosm. Continuing to spread the love. for books! A bit ago, I blogged about a letter. For Z, the student I wrote about previously, I handed his books off to his teacher as he missed our tutoring session. Just as I was finishing up my day, he found me running, with a letter (below he talks about the MAP standardized test):. Dear Ms. Hirabayashi. Ellen, thank you so much for the gift of reading! Maryland and DC- the lost tales! Here are some pictures, some in random order:. I cove...
