Fox Valley Homestead :: Katahdin Sheep
http://www.foxvalleyhomestead.com/index.php/katahdin-sheep
Our farm breeds Katahdin meat sheep. Katahdins are hair sheep with no wool, so they don't need to be sheared. Instead, they shed their winter coat every spring without help. The lack of lanolin from wool makes their meat a superior quality, much milder in flavor and leaner. Our flock is grass-fed only, all natural. We only deworm as needed (rarely) and only our breeding stock have been vaccinated so all meat is as natural as possible. Katahdins are a medium-sized. Katahdin Hair Sheep International.
