A-Robot-A-Day: Ode to Bot
http://a-robot-a-day.blogspot.com/2015/05/ode-to-bot.html
Thursday, May 21, 2015. I have packed 99% of my workshop now. Ah, lonely drill press! You sit on the loveliest, sturdiest shelves ever made. Will you miss them? Of course, in the midst of packing, I had to make one final bot. This is the last to be made here in Baldwin City. Next stop, Tonganoxie . . . with a minor layover at my poor parents' for two weeks. A-Robot-A-Day: New Workshop!
http://a-robot-a-day.blogspot.com/2015/06/new-workshop.html
Sunday, June 21, 2015. We're finally in the new place, and I've set up a temporary workshop in the downstairs bar area . . . because a drill press is more important than a cocktail, right? Not to mention I'm completely anti-social, and, therefore, not planning on entertaining . . . ever. My littlest assistant made himself comfortable right away. And now to get down to work on the Orukter Amphibolos project. June 27, 2015 at 1:13 PM. I just found your blog and its wonderful! June 28, 2015 at 9:48 AM.

Thursday, January 29, 2015. Links to this post. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. We've been contemplating moving for a couple of years now. Unfortunately, we're getting more serious. That means . . . cleaning, packing, cleaning, purging, cleaning, stressing. My gut response is to get a dumpster and throw everything in it. I actually asked for a dumpster rental for Christmas, but didn't get it. Links to this post. Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Links to this post. Sunday, January 18, 2015. Links to this post.

A-Robot-A-Day: Happy Mama's Day!
http://a-robot-a-day.blogspot.com/2015/05/happy-mamas-day.html
Sunday, May 10, 2015. My mom and I have had an up and down relationship over the years. (How could it not be when teenage years were involved? But as our relationship has deepened in adulthood, it's definitely become a blessing in my life. My mom gets my sarcasm and the way I see the world. She's always willing to help with my horde of kids and is even willing to let us invade her home while we try to find our next home. PLUS, she's clearing a space for my drill press. Enough said. Friday, July 31, 2015. The Orukter Amphibolos Story - with Pictures! Once upon a time, two men in Delaware decided to open a restaurant called Grain Craft Bar Kitchen. To celebrate their Delawarean heritage, they wanted to honor the state's own Oliver Evans. An early 19th century inventor credited with creating the first automobile called the Orukter Amphibolos ("Amphibious Digger”). So they asked an artist to create a Steampunk reproduction of the vehicle. To create the main body of the vehicle. When I ...
