A pair of home ice wins over the weekend have put the Baffin Island Rovers one win away from the King’s Cup Final. A 4-2 win on Saturday night coupled with a 2-1 victory last night have given the Rovers a 3-1 series lead headed back to Saskatoon, but still with much work to do. Posted in Game Reports. Now unbeaten in 10 games, the Rovers return home to face their other historical rival, Mark Benvenga's 500s. Though struggling out of the gate, everyone knows that the 500s can drop five or six goals on any team in the Champions conference, so the Rovers can't afford any sort of letdown on home ice if they hope to keep their momentum up the standings.
