Either side of our time in Cartagena we took the opportunity to explore Colombia’s incredible Caribbean coast a bit more by visiting 2 nearby islands; Tierra Bomba and Playa Blanca on the Islas del Rosario. Both our quiet island stays were 2 nights and a total contrast to the busy, cosmopolitan way of life we experienced in Cartagena.
