We can accommodate 140 clients* per night. This includes:. 40 Emergency Men’s Cots. 12 Emergency Women’s Cots. 28 Short-term beds (semi-private suites). 20 Permanent supportive bachelor suites. 40 Mat Intox – dedicated room for clients under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We are currently unable to accomodate anyone who is under 18. This includes families with minor children. Our state-of-the-art facility offers:. Clinic, professionally staffed. During the winter months, Rotary House runs an Intox/Mat Program (40 mats). Men and women who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, are able to stay in this safe environment overnight while their condition stabilizes. Rotary House serves a vital need in our community providing accommodation for people with hearing problems. Indeed there is no other place quite like it in the UK. Rotary House was built in King Street, Norwich in 1977, some twelve years after the idea was first put forward by members of the Rotary Club of Norwich.
