The name of the shop is "Okuyama Meiboku Ten (Okuyama (family name) Meiboku (wood) Ten (shop). As the name shows, they sell wood, but they are selling books too. Today I bought 3 books. Thursday, October 27, 2005. We went to Nara a week or two ago to see the bambis. Apparently there are 1800 deer in Nara Park. I didn't count, but there sure were a lot. They roam freely around the park, scaring the young children. And Beth. Thankfully, the cutting of the antlers happens in October, so none of the deer had big antlers to attack us with.
