Faith and Parenting in the face of Cancer. But I have hope that it won’t always be this hard. Thank you for your grace to continue to do so. 6 weeks. As I was reminded by my dear sister in law’s Facebook status today, it has now been six weeks without Byron. And today I feel shattered by that. It feels so long to have been without my partner. And yet so short in the grand scheme of things. A day at a time. Working on the routines. Space to just breathe. We’re making it through. As if that were possible.

On Sunday morning Byron went into emergency after falling twice during the night. He was very weak in his legs and in a lot of pain. Though he did not injure himself in the falls, he was more sore afterwards. If so, please share. When you ask me how Byron’s doing, I’m never really sure what to say. Things seem to have changed in a way I can’t totally describe. He is tired.
