Wednesday, February 08, 2006. Creating a Broken Femur. The construction of the fake leg is quite simple. All that is needed is some foam padding (typically laid down under hardwood flooring), some canned expandable foam insulation (called GreatStuff), and a 1 inch wooden dowel.
