madKnews: Joy June 24
http://madknews.blogspot.com/2014/06/joy-june-24.html
Random ramblings and occasional ravings. Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Well, I did it again - got so busy I did not have time to post my joys. I'll reach back to the weekend and add what has happened since to bring me joy. I did some decluttering in the house - a never ending goal - and got rid of some things that should have been gotten rid of years ago. Joy! Quotable quotes; in the category You Can Have Joy If You Just Think About It! I got a brain! The Scarecrow from MGM's The Wizard Of Oz. 2 Things @ Once.

madKnews: Joy June 17

Random ramblings and occasional ravings. Tuesday, June 17, 2014. I've been too busy to post so I'll have to make up for it. What has given me joy recently? This past weekend I finished a few knitting projects - golf club covers for my brother-in-law,. A wool tea cozy for my sister,. A baby blanket for a niece who is expecting her first child,. And a scrapbook page incorporating valentines from The Man the past couple years (sorry, no picture of that one). Or just a commissioned one? 2 Things @ Once.

madKnews: Joy June 18
http://madknews.blogspot.com/2014/06/joy-june-18.html
Random ramblings and occasional ravings. Wednesday, June 18, 2014. My biggest joy is the weather. It is been and will be hot and humid all week - the kind of weather I hate the most - but today it finally rained and stormed which means the garden got a good watering and weeds will be easy to pull. And it cooled off a bit. Also, I tried my hand at painting a stormy sky. Not quite what I'd aimed for but I'm pleased that I made the effort. madKnews: September 2013
http://madknews.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Random ramblings and occasional ravings. Monday, September 30, 2013. A while ago I blogged about my garden and specifically about potatoes. I harvested my potatoes yesterday. Not a bad return for a crop that required little more than cutting up some potatoes and tossing them into a tub full of dirt. I'm hoping I missed a few and will go tater digging again in a few days to see. This may be the beginning of a beautiful relationship . . . with my potatoes. From Your Mind's Eye: Imagination
http://fromyourmindseye.blogspot.com/2012/07/imagination.html
From Your Mind's Eye. Tuesday, July 24, 2012. The other day, I watched a wonderful movie that reminded me of the importance of using our imaginations. It was called. The Magic of Belle Island. A crotchety old author moved to the Island to drink away the rest of his days in bitterness and disappointment His neighbors, a newly divorced mother and her three daughters changed all of that for him. His impact on their lives was powerful as well. They are stolen moments that come with much peace and joy for me&...

From Your Mind's Eye: Where did the last five years go?
http://fromyourmindseye.blogspot.com/2011/01/where-did-last-five-years-go.html
From Your Mind's Eye. Monday, January 24, 2011. Where did the last five years go? Sometimes your heart just fills with love from the simplest of things. A father changes the number 5 on the birthday board he made his daughter when she was 1, to a 6. Where did the past 5 years go, he asks? Lamenting the rapid passage of time and his little girls growth. She watches in wonder as the 5 disappears and the 6 takes it's place on the board for another year. What color should it be, her Daddys asks? Subscribe to...

From Your Mind's Eye. Tuesday, December 13, 2011. Beautiful berries growing wild. A Mailbox festooned with color. A Welcoming front door. Fall leaves decorating my path. The trees decked out in riotous color. Even nature celebrates the Christmas Season with Color.
