She was so hungry that she needed to keep herself busy to try *not* thinking about food. She wasn't. Starving though. It's just that whole concept of being told that you can't do something so it becomes the only thing you want to do. It rules your thoughts and emotions out of nowhere. And to the point that even *doing* that thing isn't satisfactory. So why? Why are we programed like this?
