Rockin' out in Gifu. June 29, 2009. Insert witty title here]. Passersby always sounds weird to me, too. But hey, we’re all descriptivists here, right? Haaa…) that the locals frequent. I’m pretty confident that I’ll develop ties to Gifu since I have the kind of personality that latches onto people, places, things… nouns in general. I feel like I have a connection with Noto Peninsula, and I was only there for, what, four days total? The question of the day is, will I be accepted by the Gifuans?

Rockin' out in Gifu. August 3, 2009. Somehow, after a bunch of hours, a few movies, and copious amounts of airplane food (which I rather like – I guess I don’t have a terribly distinguished palate – oh, except for the weird chicken stuff for dinner – that was kind of gross), we made it to the Land of the Rising Sun! It seems like it can – leave a message if you feel otherwise. Speaking of which, you should leave a message anyway so I don’t feel sad and lonely. Go! Laquo; [insert witty title here].
